There are 429 nuclear power plants which generate about 390 GWe in total, at the end of 2006. Also commercial reprocessing plants have been operated in Japan, France and United Kingdom. The liquid effluent such as tritium has been released from each facility with authorization. The each safety assessment confirms that local environmental impact would be small enough. However, multilateral long-term assessment over the border from plural countries will be necessary, because of the increase of both the interest for environmental problem and demand for nuclear energy. In this study, the author is calculating multilateral long-term diffusion of radionuclides which has been discharged from nuclear facilities in the world, and assessing the environmental impact to the world ocean, using a computer code LAMER (Long-term Assessment ModEl of Radionuclides in the Oceans) developed by JAEA.

The international commission on radiological protection (ICRP) was published the human alimentary tract model (HATM) on the ICRP publication 100 (2006). The HATM is a new model replaced the gastrointestinal model of ICRP publication 30. The publication 30 was a model applied to workers, though it's model was applied to public by the f1 value of age dependence. And it's model also did not have the oesophagus. As a result, the HATM was developed for the improvement of their problems and findings since publication 30. Our presentation quantitatively show some difference between two models by simulating retention in organ.

The variation of ambient radiation dose rate due to the ground deposition of atmospheric radon decay products during rainfall becomes an interference factor, when the variation of the dose rate due to radioactivity discharge from nuclear facility is discriminated. In this study, the variation due to the radioactivity discharge facilities during rainfall was quantified by using the correlation relationship of the variation of the dose rate observed neighboring monitoring posts during rainfall.

JAEA was established on October 1st, 2005 by integrating the Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute and the Japan Nuclear Cycle Development Institute. In these institutes, there were a several radiation control methods or original radiation control levels. After establishing JAEA, in order to make a harmonization of radiation control methods and levels, applications of these are investigated under actual situations.

It is known that the ratios of multiple detectors outputs and objective values compose closed convex in vector space forming with these ratios in the case of optimum obcective value evaluation, such as dose evaluation, with multiple radiation detectors. Neutron dose evaluation method with this method is discussed. A neutron detector with high sensitivity for thermal neutrons and fast neutrons combined was applied for dose evaluation experiment with this method. The response of the detector was simulated by calculation and experimentally validated with mono-energy neutron and RI. A vector space with tis detector was calculated. It is confirmed that the simulated outputs of detectors with various types of neutron field and experimental outputs plotted in this vector space are arranged in closed convex.
